Points for week 1--Melissa M

I got off to a strong start last week and ended with a whimper.  My points are:

Monday- 11 points
Tuesday- 9 points
Wednesday- 12 points
Thursday- 11 points
Friday- 9 points
Saturday- 8 points
Sunday- 4 points

Weekly points:  3 for first intro post + 3 for this post
                          1 for not eating out
                          1 for Mommy time

Total points: 72 so far

I have not been a good eater of produce of any kind in the past, so this week I felt like all I did was plan how to get enough fruits and vegetables and glasses of water.  Like constantly, all day.  And my digestive system had to adjust to a radical dietary change.  So I spent a couple of days with a bellyache.  I also tried avoiding all sweets but gave up by about the 4th day.  I will try again, though.

For my meal planning, I just made a list of breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dinners for the week and then chose one each day.  I had some trouble with my food log.  I was doing it on my phone and when I ran into technical difficulties, I just quit instead of finding a notebook.  This week I am doing it on paper but I do worry that it will get misplaced.

My personal goal was to read from the scriptures daily.  That worked great if I did it in the morning before I got out of bed.  If anything prevented that, I tended not to get it done.  I am keeping the same goal for this week.
