Week 7--Melissa M

Last week I really concentrated on fixing a lot of things in my home life.  It was a good week with lots of good accomplishments.  But I sort of took the week off as far as the challenge goes.  I didn't bother counting servings or keeping track of anything at all.  So I am going to give myself 2 points per day since I never drink soda and always get enough sleep.  I also took Mommy time and didn't eat out at all.  So with the 3 points for this post, that equals 19 points.  My running total at this point is 330.  I know that I am pathetic as far as the competition goes but I am grateful to be included and to have some extra motivation to become a more healthy person.  I am going to get back on track this week.  My personal goal comes from something I heard in Sunday School yesterday.  It was a reminder that to maintain good relationships, it takes 5 positive comments for every negative one you make.  So this week I am going to make a conscious effort to say out loud every positive thing I think about the members of my family instead of keeping them to myself.
